Too damn early
Last night I got into bed around 1. Granted that's not great when one has to get up at 7:15 but it isn't horrible either. I was tired. I shut my eyes. I cleared my mind. I appreciated the nice fluffy pillows....
What I didn't do was fall asleep. I think I laid there for about an hour. FOR NO REASON. It's not like I was pondering something heavily, or had a crazy day ahead of me and was stressing. I wasn't intermittently remembering that something need to to be dealt with and getting up to do it. I was just laying there not sleeping until about 2 am. Sigh. I have some time to nap today but not quite as much as I would like given the circumstances. I suppose it will have to be enough. And it is going to be HOT today too which means I will be even more tired by the time I get home. At least this time I am assured of falling asleep fast.
Anyway I'm up for now, and at work. We have a new color printer. It is nifty. We're way too excited.
