So, Bloggers Union Local 50 is a madhouse today. Myself and tikva are settled onto adjoining couches with our laptops, tap tap typing away. Her housemate bester has made breakfast for a small army. jadasc (another housemate) is cheering us on, making coffee and providing comic relief. collegecate (the final housemate) has awakened due to the persistent smell of bacon floating up the stairs to her bedroom. We've had two other people visit us this morning. Brodie the dog weaves in between the hoardes of bacon eating geeks hoping someone will drop a bite.

A special shout out to elionwyr who is promoting me all over the place and mytheria who made us a quiche! High protein snacks are key to a successful blogathon experience or so I am told. I don't remember what I ate last year. I don't remember much really as the sleep dep wiped my brain. Chances are it will this year so I'm getting down all the thanks now while I still have a cerebrum.
