It's over, thank fuck.

this is the second to last post. i am typing with one hand because my friend has the other one in his possession at the moment. therefore this post will be short. i hope to have something fun for you at the end.

Telepath episode. I always wondered, if I were telepathic what exactly would I do with the power. I'd like to think I'd be noble and not use it in any damaging way, but I'm sure I'd find small harmless ways to turn it to my advantage.

- scanning the car dealer to find out if he can in fact NOT get me a lower price
- determining when my roommate is annoyed about the dishes
- finding out if my upstairs neighbor has the money she owes me
- scanning my cat. Just cause.

Oh hai guy with a laser beam. Wow I never realized how many laser guns there were in this series until I watched a whole lot of it in a row.

I just sang Modern Major General. We are talking about slash fiction.

We are awaiting the arrival of the last member of our support team who will hopefully not get too lost on the way here. One of my friends volunteered to get up early on Sunday and carry us through the last couple of hours.

Perhaps now is a good time to explain WHY I do this. I could just donate a bunch of money to this cause myself. I might in fact. There is something nice about raising money for a cause by pulling together a groups of small donations. It allows people to see how all the little pieces come together. But there's something else.

In order for great things to be achieved every person needs to be willing to put in some effort and sometimes make sacrifices. This is something i can do, since I can't throw over $500 at a charity most of the time.

Everything is really funny right now. I tried to write a serious post about why I do these events but all I can think is "hey let's set the Narn on fire I bet the scales burn pretty"

Staying up all night is a bit of a mindfuck. Body and brain says we need to sleep, its still night. Eyes say "its light! stay awake!" Ill listen to the eyes for now but I gotta say I am looking forward to putting my head down on a pillow and shutting my eyes.

Oh, I forgot! Earlier we began writing a filk of "Single Ladies" by Beyonce. It's called "Single Doggies"

I really want dog number 1 to dance with me but I've been told its a bad idea to try. I guess dogs just don't boogie but I've got the music in my brain!!!

Oy, why are people on these tv shows so stupid. "Gee this technology bonds with other life forms. Let's just carry it around in a bag and sneak it through customs" and they wonder why people keep getting killed???? Dumbass.

Its amazing how tiny a space a large dog can crumple into. Dog number two has his tail up by his nose. Cuteness abounds.

Sun coming in from outside. I forget how light it is at 5:30 this time of year. I manage to forget this every day until I wake up at 5:30 and its bright bright bright.

The right company certainly improves the whole blogathon process. This year has been much easier physically and stress wise, despite the fact that I had a terrible nights sleep before the event. We've had amazing support from some unexpected places. The house we've been in is a total disaster but if thats the worst thing that comes of this, we're doing pretty well.

At some point I should stop drinking coffee so I can sleep when its all over, but that time hasn't quite come yet.

I also want to give a huge shout out to my teammate tikva who has been fantastic in her first blogathon. Almost 6 am and she is still posting actual content on her disability blog.

Watching B5 has me pondering on an old question; would I leave earth for parts unknown... I don't think I could. Number one, I'm terrified of flying on airplanes never mind space craft. I fly all the time but i freak out every time. I can't imagine getting onto some sort of space craft and flying my ass out of the atmosphere off to god knows what.... Space kinda freaks me out. I'm pretty sure this means I have to sacrifice my geek card permenantly. Even if space travel if achieved in my lifetime, I'm staying right here on this rock. I'll take my adventures elsewhere.

New theory! Because the "mind probe" that Adira uses is shaped like a butt plug we have decided that centauri brains are in their butts!!!! It all makes sense now!

We are closer to dawn. Babylon 5 viewing continues. Down on the floor, dog number 2 looks up plaintively as if to say "where is my biscuit?" Dog number 3 is sprawled across the floor. Dog number 1 has been on tie down forEVER because she is hyper.

There was some discussion of ordering food but the one place which delivers round the clock has terrible reviews so we will not be doing that. Maybe if we were stoned.

Soul hunters are damn creepy. They have yellow eyes so help me yellow eyes!!!! Also they kill people and steal their souls which is bad and stuff.

I remain deeply jealous of Delenn's awesome purple robe. This soul hunter is totally pulling a "before I kill you Mr Bond" and explaining the method of assassination. Never do that dumbass. Also he has terrible aim with that gun.

Amazingly i don't feel exhausted right now. I had a lie down between posts about and hour ago and I'm okay now.

So, the woman back at the largest central who manages to keep the outsiders supplied...

As far as anyone can tell, Oska is the only person who was born, raised and came of age INSIDE a domed city who then fled to the outside. Half the population inside isn't aware of any other option. The other half thinks life outside is plague infested poverty. Oska doesn't talk about how or why she left, but she has deep knowledge of security procedures on the inside. She is the one who generates the ever changing attack plans which, so far, have allowed outsiders to get what they need. However she is clear on the fact that they will run out of options. Eventually there will be no weakness or loophole left to exploit. It is her hope that by the time that day comes, outsiders will be able to produce their own medicines. If this doesn't happen, life outside WILL devolved into disease and poverty. She constantly pushes leaders in the centrals to put more energy into research and production, less into elaborate plans to steal from the domed cities.
