frippin heat
Jun. 16th, 2001 08:05 amI only spent about 20 minutes outside yesterday afternoon/evening. I drank lots of water. I stayed in AC'd areas. So why am I heat sick?
I couldn't get to sleep last night because my legs felt hot and as I was finally falling asleep, 2 hours after getting into bed, I noticed my head was hurting. I never remember which thing is heat stroke and which is heat exhaustion. One involved getting hot and red and sweaty and feeling weak. That's what I usually get and I can always tell when it is gonna happen because I FEEL hot and am sweating. The other one involves skin feeling hot and tiredness and achey head. That one is harder to spot, but I had the impression it also took more to get to that state. Yet somehow I ended up like that last night. Sigh. Drinking water and being irritated that I have to go to a full day class feeling this shitty when I was good and went to bed at 11.
