I am not a good snowboarder
Oct. 15th, 2005 12:07 amTonight out of sheer desire for variety I decided to give SSX a try. I have confirmed my belief that I am just not very good at most video games involving aim and spatial relations. I did have some fun making my little snowboarder guy fall head first into the trees.
Am hoping that a long uninterrupted sleep tonight will finally get me on the road to recovery. In the meantime, I have been blessed to have friends who will entertain me. Thank yous go out to dimers for coming by this evening and letting stinky sicky me lounge on him, demosceles and brewergnome for being on line to chat a lot, and last but not least to Lucky_Otter who came over here wednesday night despite having no way to confirm that I was not in fact an axe murderer. Fortunately for him I do not in fact own an axe and the company and the ceremonial game of "what is in the geeks backpack" were greatly appreciated.
I just want to get out. Originally I was going out to western MA to see Mhaille and glaucos and their kids but instead I will be here and, maybe if I am really lucky, be able to go out for a few hours within the city just to get out of the damn house. I feel like life is passing my by while I sit here and sneeze.
Eric is on the mend and will be attending broomstones open house this weekend. Yes that's a curling club. Not up to the cold air tomorrow, but future weeks may find me going there with him to booze up and watch.
If you have it in you, send your good vibes to Tikva, she is having a rough time of things and could really use them.
