So a recent conversation got me thinking, what is the worst part of a breakup?

I've come to the conclusion that it is having to tell everyone that either of you knows that you are no longer an item. I happened to not talk to one friend of mine during the 2 weeks surrounding my breakup with YuleCat and I found out a month later that she had never found out. She wandered around for all that time assuming that he and I were still together. The poor girl was very confused as to why I never mentioned hanging out with him anymore.

Every time I go through a breakup, approximately 200 people end up being told. Some i just tell. Others say "where's so and so" and I say "oh we're not together anymore." Others ask if we split. Others refer to that person as my SO in public and I have to correct them. Argh. I hate that part. Next time I have a breakup, I will get a skywriter.
