I hate Mondays. I especially hate waking up at 7 am on a Monday to find that it is rainy and icky outside. Not a good start to the day. In good news, today is the return of Oscuridad! Yay! I won't see her till at least tomorrow since Wyndam is swiftly wisking her off to the gazebo or something. Apparently she's decided that she needs to go with us to see Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back. Heehee. I guess we'll get the vat o' popcorn and the tub o' soda. Who can resist a movie where Ben Affleck plays Ben Affleck as Jay?

I have successfully addicted Shrac to EQ! Now I need to arrange for his character to get moved to somewhere useful. Time to call upon Cyrican the mad teleporting machine! I need to drag my character to the main continent sometime soon anyway.

Hrm, I guess it is a pretty dull morning. Water park and beach this weekend.

Dammit, I left the chocolate cake at Wyndam's apartment again! Gotta go get that tomorrow.

This year I will NOT be shoved away in the back corner of the top floor comma dammit!

I will also be smart and get a taxi there rather than dragging my huge duffel on the T.

I will also remember to buy bottled water and more food than I had with me last time.

tonight was a little more stressful than I had planned

It started out as a fairly calm day. I got home from work. I was sleepy so I playexd bejeweled and then I took a nap. I woke up and decided to swim before dinner. I went to the Y and the lot was full so I parked my car on a nearby road and went in. I had a pretty good swim. When I got out of the pool my legs and arms were pretty tired and I was looking foward to driving home and vegging....

Uh, dude, where's my car?

My car was not where I thought it should be. I happened to see someone out on the street and asked her "do they normally tow here?" thinking it was POSSIBLE that they had towed the car during the hour it was parked. The nice person on the street let me borrow her phone. I called the police. They told me to call the towing yard. The towing yard did not have my car. The police told me "well then you need to come down and report it stolen." How am I gonna get there, I have no car, I'm in a wet swimsuit, and it is pouring out. Apparently I was supposed to walk a mile. I started trying to track down someone to give me a ride to the police station while pacing the neighborhood looking for my car and having the mother of all asthma attacks (my lungs were already tired from the swim, the stress did NOT help)....

Wait, I'm on the wrong street.....

I hung up the phone, walked up the street, and turned the corner. I walked one block, turned left, and got in my car.

I am SUCH a dork

And I REALLY wish my chocolate cake wasn't at Wyndam's place. I could theoretically go up and get it but he is having his first night with Oscuridad in a while and I would have to interrupt it to get the cake. So I will wait. But he better not eat it all. It's MY cake :)
