this means something, I think
Nov. 20th, 2002 11:30 amI had a dream last night that Eric and I were going to Spain. I was pretty pissed when I woke up and found out I wasn't. Not only that, but I found money in the dream and that's not real either.
Anyway that got me thinking about travel. Eric and I have this epic trip to the mediterranean planned for the honeymoon. A week on crete and a week somewhere in italy, and who knows what else. Such a trip is rather pricey, and it's possible we could not have so much money when the time omes. So then what? I am trying to come up with less priey options. No place I want to go is cheap :P
Alaskan cruise - costs and arm and a leg to fly to vancouver never mind the boat.
Northern Europe and Scandanavia - don't really know, but it sure as hell doesn't sound cheap
Hawaii - plane tickets run about $1000 each. ow.
Australia - very expensive to fly there, though once you land your dollar is worth 2. But there's thisproblem with the native spiders being the size of dogs that keeps me away. New Zealand is a similar flying expense, not sure about the spiders
Iceland - might actually be a viable option.
Montreal - been there, done that. It's just not exciting if you can drive there on a long weekend.
Russia - I want to do this, but Moscow is not a place to honeymoon
Scotland or England or Ireland - the flight would be cheap because May is not yet truly spring over there. However once you get there, your currency gets cut by 75%
Northern California - cheap for us because Eric knows a guy with a B&B up there.
Bah, travel should be free/
