Oh look, what a shock! (public post)

Latest post in Arisia is about how arisia fucked up inviting Randy Milholland to the con. The source of the e-mail stating that Randy was being disinvited? drumroll please!

Michael Whitehouse aka fireheart. The same guy who, according to members of the current Pi-con committee, was ousted from the con he started for general asshattery and failure to be useful. When he joined the arisia con committee I feared for arisia. I am not shocked at all to find his name swimming amidst a humongous arisia screwup. And this man was made a division head this year after very little involvement with arisia in previous years. I am truly fearful that some year he will manage to get elected con chair. I hope this mess will prevent that, but he seems to have this way of working himself into positions he should never get into in the first place.
