notes on the past few days

Friday night was declared (by YuleCat and Nachtegal) to be "Introduce Eustacia to Dr. Who night." Ah campy 70's british sci fi, what could be better after a stressful week? The sci-fi was preceeded by comfort food which was also much needed. And I played flower fairy. It's hard to find truly exotic flowers in winter though. I hate ordinary stuff like carnations and roses. If I am going to buy flowers for someone I want them to be interesting. Anyway I managed to find a nice purple iris, an asiatic lilly, a spider mum, and some pretty fushia daisylike things among all the leftover valentines premade rose bouquets so it turned out okay. So it was a nice relaxing evening, very much what we needed.
Unfortunately we discovered the next day that YuleCat's computer is not quite EQ capable. THe game runs, but too slow to really play :(
Last night I went to see "Snatch" which was a friggin hilarious movie, if you're twisted enough to be able to laugh at a man giving a very detailed desription of how to best dispose of unsightly dead bodies. However, a piece of advice for all you moveigoers out there. DO NOT assume that the other guy knows how to get to the theater.
Me: So how long is the walk from here to the theater
Dave: I dunno. I don't remember how to get there
Me: I thought you knew.
Dave: I thought you knew.
we found it, but it was way too cold out there to be wandering looking for a place.
