Apologies if this is typo laden. There is a Maine Coon cat who likes the keyboard an awful lot and has been thwarting my plans to type. Though now he appears to be skulking away, hunting the wild carpet lint.
Had an odd afternoon. After reading Wyndam's post I pondered when the last time was that I had let myself be evil. I think it was my Junior year of college. I found out that someone who had sumped me the year before in as awful a manner as possible had now sunken into a deep depression and gone nearly catatonic, not leaving his room for a week or two and not speaking to people. I laughed. I even sent a letter to a mutual friend saying how thrilled I was that he had gotten what was coming to him. I don't take revenge on people but when the universe chooses to exact it for me, you can be damn sure I enjoy it. I guess the point is, as I said before, we all have our bastardly days and its much better to ride it out or even revel in it than it is to suppress it. It was mean to laugh at my ex, it would have been dishonest to say I was not pleased that karma had struck him down.
And now on a lighter note, a list of stuff that is on YuleCat's desk:
2 speakers, 1 watch, an old invalid drivers license, 3 empty killian's bottles, yacko wacko and dot figurines, a "pinky and the brain" toy, a model car, a beer glass, random envelopes, a cd case, a floppy disk, scissors, some pennies and nickels, a scrap of velcro, a sharpie marker, a book, and a mousepad with a silly obscene joke on it :)There's some other stuff but I can't tell what it is.
