eustaciavye77Today didn't start out so well. I woke up from a restless night of sleep and wierd dreams. I think I am not used to the birdie soundtrack these days. Anyway I got up and baked the rest of the cookies for tea and cleaned the place up in preparation. Oscuridad went off to a theater thingy leaving me with a nice open day. So I folded laundry and showered and then....
My first sunbeam nap of 2002! Complete with open window, breeze and neighbors dog barking. Woke up just about an hour before tea time, got dressed and launched into final prep mode. People started arriving at 3:30 and by 4:30 I had quite a crowd in my living room. Much fun, much much tea, and crazy amounts of baked goods. Antimony made some great chocolate and cranberry scones. Got to see Flasher and Shimmeringjemmy which doesn't happen much these days.
And in the middle of tea while several conversations were occurring Eric got down on one knee, proposed, and attempted to slip an AOL CD on my finger in lieu of a ring. Heehee! I think we scared the beejeezus out of Some_kitten. So now we must find a replacement for the AOL CD.
